10-State Ring & δ-Pairs Proof-of-Work Simulator (toy engine for Cauldron / CORE)
What is CORE Hasher?
CORE Hasher is an educational toy that demonstrates how the NUMO 10-state ring and δ-pair transitions work in a proof-of-work context. Each hash maps to one of 10 states (0-9), and the transition between states is tracked as a δ-step.
The global δ-Pair Heatmap shows how often each from-state + δ-step pair occurs across all nodes, visualizing the distribution of state transitions over time.
Different modes (Random / Cauldron Orbit / Mixed) highlight how structured orbits imprint different δ-pair fingerprints on the field.

How to Use
- 1. Go to the Simulator tab
- 2. Adjust nodes (1-20), difficulty (1-3 leading zeros), and mode
- 3. Click Start to begin mining simulation
- 4. Watch the CORE rings rotate and each node's δ-histogram grow
- 5. Compare heatmap patterns between Random vs Cauldron Orbit modes
